PORTLAND, OR – The Crisis Psychiatric Residential Program at Albertina Kerr Centers recently received a $5,000 grant from the Rose E. Tucker Charitable Trust.
The innovative, highly successful program provides immediate safety and treatment for children in crisis and counseling for their families. Children range in age from 5 to 17 and are either suicidal, in danger of harming others or experiencing an uncontrollable, sudden and dramatic change in behavior.
The program offers medical and psychiatric assessment and diagnosis, 24-hour medical care, medication management, individual, family and group therapies, behavior support planning and comprehensive discharge planning.
