The 2009 Safeway Classic benefits many local children's charities, including Albertina Kerr Centers.
You can help in a couple of different ways. First, all the ticket sales are going directly to area nonprofits. You can designate Albertina Kerr Centers when you buy tickets online. You can also download the Tickets Fore Charity order form here.
You can also help by volunteering at the amateur tournament:

Description: By providing your volunteer support during the amateur tournament, Kerr will receive a portion of tournament proceeds, all of which go directly to children's charities, providing critical care for Oregon’s youth. Hand out refreshments provided by tournament sponsor, Safeway, at hospitality tents along the course. This opportunity is great for groups and youth.

MARSHALS:
Description:
The main objective of marshals is to ensure the physical safety of spectators and to ensure fair play for the professionals. This is achieved through gallery control using the marshal’s hands, eyes and voice. Please see Duties of Gallery Marshals for more information.
When Marshals are needed Friday, Saturday & Sunday (8/28 – 8/30.) You must sign up for at least two days, preferably all three. Marshals may sign-up for mornings, afternoons or both. Uniforms are mandatory.
